Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies CleanHavenly uses, what each one does, and how you can manage or turn them off.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your choices, understand how visitors use the site, and show relevant advertising. Some cookies are set by CleanHavenly itself; others are set by third-party services we use, such as analytics, advertising, and affiliate programmes.

What Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are needed for the site to work properly — for example, remembering your cookie-consent choice and keeping the site secure. They do not collect information that identifies you, and they cannot be turned off through the cookie banner because the site would not work without them.

Preference Cookies

These remember choices you make on the site, such as your cookie-consent settings. They make your next visit smoother.

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use CleanHavenly — which articles are read, how long people stay, and which pages need improving. Analytics cookies collect information in aggregated form, such as the number of visitors and the pages they visit. Your IP address is anonymised where the service allows it. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie-consent banner.

Advertising Cookies

Display ads on CleanHavenly are served by third-party advertising networks. These networks may use cookies to show you ads based on the pages you visit, and to limit how often you see the same ad. Advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie-consent banner.

Affiliate Cookies

When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, the retailer may set a cookie to track the referral so a commission can be paid if you make a purchase. These cookies are set by the retailer, not by CleanHavenly, and they are covered by the retailer’s own privacy and cookie policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more on how affiliate links work.

Social Media Cookies

Content embedded from Pinterest, Instagram, or other platforms may set cookies under those platforms’ own policies. These apply only if you interact with the embedded content.

How to Manage Cookies

You can control cookies in three ways:

  1. Cookie-consent banner — when you first visit CleanHavenly, a banner asks you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the site footer.
  2. Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies, either for all sites or for specific sites. Check your browser’s help pages for how to do this. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
  3. Opt-out tools — you can opt out of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page and YourAdChoices. You can also enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser; we honour it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information where the law requires it.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

CleanHavenly does not sell your personal information for money. Some of our advertising and analytics partners may collect data through cookies in ways that California law treats as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. To opt out of that sharing, decline advertising cookies in the cookie-consent banner, enable the Global Privacy Control signal, or email us at hello@cleanhavenly.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. See our Privacy Policy for the full California (CCPA/CPRA) notice.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when we add a new service or change how we use cookies. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date below.
